Espacio Terra is the new community platform, completely maintained by Terra users. Here you can create your profile, meet new friends, share interests, upload your photos, your videos, blog about your likes and dislikes. This is YOUR space to do exactly what you want.

Anyone can create their space on Espacio Terra. It's free, and you only have to register on the Terra portal . Each registrant can have one space, but you can register as many times as you'd like.

To create your space, simply go to the Create my Space page and log in with your username and password in the box "Enter with your Terra account"

If you don't have a Terra account, click on the Create Your Account Now to register. Creating your Terra account is simple, fast and it gives you access to all of the Terra products (espacio, mail, fotolog and more).

After you create your account, go to Espacio and create your public profile in the community. Now you're ready to share your things and meet people.

If you forgot your Terra password, click here to recuperate it. Remember that it's very important to keep your contact information updated in the Terra registration system so that we can help you recuperate your password in case you forget it.

Your Resumen is your main page of your Espacio Terra profile. It is here that the entire community will be able to see your latest updates, the latest photos, videos and more that you have updated. The latest blogs, feeds that you have added, groups, friends, all in one place!

After you have created your space, uploaded photos, audios and have written your posts, you can invite your friends to see your space and create theirs as well. Just like that you can add them to your list of friends and you can exchange messages, comment and vote on your content, create groups, etc.

For this, go to your Resumen and in the Friends box on the left, click on the button "Invite" or on the link "Invite your friend now". In the small window that opens, enter the names and email addresses of your friends to send them invitations.

The user's category bar shows what category the user is in (Bronze, Silver or Gold). The category changes automatically and improves little by little whenever a user uploads a photo, an audio, writes a post, receives a comment, a star when another user votes, or even when somebody visits the profile.

The more activity the user has in his or her profile, the more the bar raises. Users who have silver and gold status have more "status" in the community than those with bronze status. In the future there will be additional features for higher level users.

To change the design of your profile you can place a code of background or design in your Customizable Box. In order to do it, you must login in to your account, then you click on the button Edit (next to the customizable Box to the right) and place the code in the box. Espacio Terra is compatible with the majority of designs made for MySpace, which are offered for free by several sites.

To upload a photo, first you should have a profile in Espacio Terra. To learn how to do this, click on the question "How do I create my space" above?

If you already have your profile in Espacio Terra, log into your account and on your Resumen page, click on the photos link that you see below your photo on your profile. On the following page, click on the Browse button in the box (Upload photos) to choose the file that you'd like to upload. You can upload up to 5 photos at a time. At this moment you can also add a title to each photo, add all of the tags (see more about tags below), choose which photo album you'd like to publish these photos to, and change the advanced options.

Alter you upload all of the photos that you want, clic on the orange Upload button.

To create a photo album, you just need to click on the option "New album" in the area where you upload photos and fill in all of the information about the album (title, description (optional) and whether or not you'd like it to appear in your list of albums.

If you choose that the album does not appear in your list of albums, your visitors will not see it with your other albums, but it could be seen by other people.

After you have created your album, it will appear in the selections where you upload photos.

After you log in and you arrive on your photos page, put your cursor on the pencil icon that appears next to the photo album in which you want to add photos. Then choose the option Ordenar Fotos.

On the next page you can change the order of the photos of this album and you can also choose to add new photos that you have already uploaded into the position that you wish.

You can upload photos in the following formats: jpeg, jpg, png and gif.

You can upload all of the photos in which you have the rights to use and that do no offend the other users of Terra. For more details about the restrictions of photo use, please read the terms and conditions of this product.

To upload audio, first you should have a profile in Espacio Terra. To learn how to do this, click on the question "How do I create my space" above.

If you already have a profile in Espacio, log into your account and on your Resumen, click on the "Audios" link that you will find below your profile photo. On the next page, click on the Browse button in the Subir audios box to choose the file, and choose a title for it. Finally, click on the orange Subir button.

You can upload audios in mp3 format.

There are two different types of tags in Espacio Terra. User tags and content tags.

User tags are those that remain right alongside the content of the user in the profile, and these tags are terms that this person thinks are related to her - such as her hobbies, nicknames, tastes and things of that nature. Visitors can vote on these tags to confirm whether or not they are in agreement with these tags; like a game.

Content tags are labels that are added to posts, audios or photos in order to better organize them and to show them to the community. These tags are essentially labels that give their content context.

Because with tags, it is much easier for people in the community to find your content and to find out what interests you.

For example, let's say you put the tag Summer in all your photos of beaches and in all audios you listened to during Summer. With one click on the tag Summer, visitors will be able to find all this content at once.

You can also put a tag of the name of one of your friends in all of the photos in which he or she appears or in all of the audio files in which his or her voice is heard. Or, perhaps, if you write about your friend, you can add the tag of his or her name, and thus you will find all the information on this friend with a single click.

The best thing is that you can add multiple tags to the same content, separating them with commas and thus you associate that tag to several things or several different people. By browsing tags in the community, you can find friends or other users who have the same interests as you.

Groups are themes that unite various people with a common interest. Any user can create a new group or participate in one that already exists.

To search for a specific group, you should have a profile in Espacio Terra and be logged in. In your Resumen, search in the groups box on the left and click the Edit button or on the link Search for groups that interest you.

On the next page, enter a search term and clic OK.

On the next page, clic on the button "Create group". Fill in the identifying details of the group, choose a photo to represent it (optional), and there you are!

Alter creating a group, you can clic on the option Invite friends to the group in the left-hand menu in order to invite friends to participate in your Espacio Terra group.
